swarm 01 Winter rains call for new beekeepers to find and ready their swarm boxes. I will begin scorching our boxes this next week. New torch to speed up the process and Kathy will be around to do some painting…I wonder what color we will find this year?
If anyone wonders by and sees us and wants to join in the “bee” games, please feel free to do so! We only ask that you be aware of allergies to bee stings and the possibilities. Beekeeping is a fun hobby but requires that you occasionally get stung…just a fact of life.
